And to think we’re considering scrapping gun control in Canada all together. These people would shoot their own grandmothers just to sell the family jewels. YIKES!! Talk about the decline of society! Talk about Canadians becoming American Rednecks.

Jack Layton has announced that he has prostate cancer but will remain as leader of the N.D.P.  while undergoing treatment.

Like my dad I’m a fighter and I’m going to beat this,” Layton said.

Olivia Chow has also been successfully treated for thyroid cancer.

“She won her battle and I’m going to win mine as well,” Layton said.

According to Karl Belanger, he is feeling good. It is not known at this time if the cancer has spread.

Over at the CBC page (not linking for obvious reasons) there are such hateful comments from the con trolls out there bashing Layton and the N.D.P. How they’re demanding for him step down, criticizing his ego and more inhumane delights. I am sure there are other just as hateful comments from neo-con trolls.  Maybe I shouldn’t be surprised, after all, these are the same people who think health care priorities should be based on pre-existing condition and socio-economic class rather than urgency.  I’m sure there are just as if not even more hateful comments over at other news sites online.  This kind of behavior scares me.  King Stevie has proven to be the least compassionate PM and he has heartless puppets cheering him on in the corporate media feeding it to even more hateful and spiteful people.

These are the same neo-cons who chastised the facebook groups and other graphic artists who photoshopped Stevie in Hitler Nazi SS outfits or comparing him to Hitler.

I am also sure that if anyone vocally wished Stevie any ill they would be in an uproar and villifying us.

Society is on a decline indeed.

Speaking of Spiteful Stevie, why haven’t we heard from him yet? Oh, yes, this is one of those times to be conveniently prorogued.

Iggy has already come out to wish his opponent well.

We should all wish him well no matter what political affiliation we may be with.  He is courageous for  staying on as leader of the N.D.P. while undergoing cancer treatments in Toronto.  That, of course, is subject to change at anytime depending on his energy level, how he tolerates the often brutal cancer treatments, and the progression of his illness if any. Either way, he is making an effort to stick around during this crucial time in politics.

Also with an uncertain immediate future ahead of him and his party, I think we can forgive him & his party if they don’t vote for the calendar change Stevie proposed yesterday given the vote to work through the spring holidays will not be unanimous as the Liberals hinted yesterday they would. Whether or not today’s news about Layton’s health will change that remains to be seen.

What is sad is that Stevie, being Stevie will more than likely do another thing he does best: kick a man when he’s down. Watch him take advantage of the N.D.P.’s situation, after of course, he gives his fake well wishes to Jack in front of a camera, once again deciding which blue sweater vest to wear.

Now, check the corporate media going to follow him through his treatments, whether or not he uses a private clinic like MedCan or Cleveland or use the public system, or whether or not he goes to the U.S.  Damned vultures!!

Mr. Layton, get well soon! You can fight the good fight!
