Jane Taber and her Insipid Articles of Late

I think Taber must be bored since Question Period took time off and even then, I have noticed Taber can get petty in her writing. I caught this over at BC er in Toronto. Her latest fluff is some very strange obsession with bugging Iggy about which olympic hockey team he’d root for. Oh yeah, Really serious stuff. Is this what she thinks is a crafty method to catch Iggy being disloyal to Canada?

Good grief, Iggy has Russian roots that he may find important. Don’t we all have roots outside of Canada that may be important to us? Remember folks, with the exception of our First People, we are all immigrants to this country. Perhaps all of our loyalties should be verified in the world according to Taber. Perhaps we should question Taber’s loyalty to Canada herself.

Sadly, she will just feed into the old Iggy just visiting thing the Harpercons and their  media love to use over and over again. No doubt those attack ads will resurface.

What I don’t get is why she didn’t write anything questioning Harper’s loyalties to Canada when he gleefully told all that he never watches Canadian News?  Or why he seems to grant interviews more freely to the likes of Fox News over a Canadian Media outfit?  How come she has never questioned Harper over his obsession for all thing Georgie and Dickies’ America?
