I Will Not Answer That On the Grounds That I May Incriminate Myself

This is now St-Stevie’s line when questioned about the Afghan detainee issue.   So, now the lawyers made him do it. Hmm; let’s think about that one…why did St-Stevie get lawyers on this file? Don’t we only hire lawyers when trouble is coming? Our tax dollars are paying lawyers to keep Stevie’s secrets about the Afghan detainee issue. Wow!

I certainly hope that the opposition never revives Rob Nicholson’s tough on crime bills.  Just tell him, “your lawyers are examining the issue.”

“Will the Prime Minister admit prorogation was a useless mistake?” Mr. Layton asked.

No, of course the Prime Minister would never admit that.

Ol’ Jack then asks St-Stevie:

“Wasn’t the real reason that the Prime Minister prorogued was to escape the tough questions about torture?” he asked, referring to the allegations of torture of Afghan prisoners.

to which, St-Stevie replied: his government spent the time consulting Canadians whose No. 1 priority is the economy.

I must have not been at home when St-Stevie ‘consulted me’, or did this ‘consultation’ not apply to us uppity French Quebec separatists? Or perhaps, he only ‘consulted’ Albertans.
