McGuinty Passes the Buck and What G20 Skeleton is David Miller Hiding?

It would be what Dalton McGuinty, Bill Blair, David Miller and Master Steve are counting on.  McGuinty has finally crawled out from under his rock with more ambiguity; something along the lines of he regrets the confusion over the five feet laws  (by the by, Redneck Ryan Doyle blames the ‘lazy media for that and the day before he said it served that same media right getting arrested for ‘not listening to police and going where they weren’t supposed to’: classy), but won’t apologize to the public.

McGuinty has a penchant for passing the buck, it would seem: between washing his hands of Blair’s creativity of the laws and refusing to pass a public inquiry into the heavy handed tactics of the cops, citing it should be up to the feds given it was their summit. Well, we all know the Harpercons ain’t goin’ to launch a public inquiry. I mean, they must be ga ga giddy over this. They got exactly what they wanted.

Pale at A Creative Revolution just made a new educational video. Watch. It explains it in under two minutes.

I do, however, have another question. Isn’t it up to David Miller to fire Chief Blair and not Dalton McGuinty?  I’m not from Ontario. Here, in Montreal, the mayor is the boss of the municipal police chief. I figured it would be the same in Toronto? Unless I’m assuming incorrectly about the hierarchy in Ontario;  does Blair have something on Miller? Exactly what skeleton is Miller hiding to have allowed Blair on this long, unscathed? What exactly is he waiting for to force his resignation?  Each day passes by, we learn of more lies coming from him. Somehow, I just don’t see a  Montreal police chief surviving this long following such scandals.

  • I’m from Vancouver, and it makes little sense here as well. I would think that mayors always made top decisions? I mean, in lieu of the mayor being available, I guess it is ultimately up to the chief, but… everyone is staying so quiet. That in itself speaks volumes.

Hi Lindsay, Fillibluster: I apologize for the delay in publishing your comments; Long story short: I’m about to throw this computer out the window.

  • We don’t have a name for whoever was running this show from command HQ in Barrie. It’s someone either from the RCMP, CSIS or the PMO.

Miller and McGuinty are afraid, pure and simple.
