An Extension of The Blogging SupposiTories–Something Everyone Needs or Wants??

My co-blogger Jymn emailed me the link to this lovely new site, the Blogging Tories in their own Words.  Sure enough, I had found that both Scott and James Bowie had posted about the site and I went over there myself. All screenshots of blogging SupposiTories with the most outrageous, wankiest, most bigotted, offensive and insane titles and even more alarming posts to go with those titles.   I read the purpose for the existance of this site, which Scott has posted at his place.

The Blogging Tories is a group of more than 240 Canadian bloggers who have a shared interest in conservative politics. Its more prominent members include Rick Anderson, Keith Beardsley, Monte Solberg, and MPs Maxime Bernier and David Anderson.

According to one its more prolific members, Roy Eapen, Prime Minister Stephen Harper is appreciative of the Blogging Tories’ efforts, and has acknowledging that the group has not only “helped to counter a media that is not very friendly to the party”, but has “helped hold the party’s feet to the fire.” However, despite the group’s influence, it remains largely unknown outside political circles. The Blogging Tories in Their Own Words is an effort to draw attention to their writings and opinions.

I tried  looking around to find who the owner of the site is to better clearly understand why it was so important to them to draw further attention to their posts? I mean, lord knows they get more than enough attention; probably more than the other blogging aggregators do.  There was none to be found.

At first, I thought it was someone even more hateful socio-path who really shouldn’t go through life without a helmet; a very frightening disturbed individual who seeks to drive more into his/her misery.  But then, after reading Norther PoV’s last sentence of his comment at Scott’s:

This site should be required reading for all swing voters

I am starting to wonder if swing voters are more this site owner’s target audience? That the purpose is more of a type of public service?  The posting of the most outrageous and offensive and psychotic posts is to let folks know who really is part of Stevie spiteful’s base; the typical Harpercon cheerleader and/or voter?

Whatever the reason,  the site’s compilation of those posts is a reminder as to why most of those Blogging SupposiTories should never be loose in society without supervision.

Also, to whomever owns the site, a little critique on the background? A serene blue body of water is contradictory.  An image composite of a scene from  One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest comes to mind.

Other Blogging Tories include members of the Calgary Herald editorial board & columnists.

Licia Corbella & Susan Martinuk are two of them.

Really? Not surprised. Just to satisfy my morbid curiosity; which blogs do they blog at?
