Juxtapose With Harpercon Cheerleaders–More Awesome Blogging SupposiTory Hypocrisy!

Man, the hypocrisy of these Harpercon crybabies just keep crawling out of the woodwork. Today, we have the Chuckles Adler edition, courtesy of FrmGrl.I’ll verbally bitch slap her later because she richly deserves it today.

Before I go on,  I believe that Liberal candidate, John Reilly,  running in the riding of Wildrose, should’ve been canned immediately and ceremoniously by Iggy, just as Andre Forbes up in Manicouagan was.  I don’t care how pristine Reilly’s record was as a jurist. This is now. His statements made on the Dave Rutherford show made him  not much different from Judge Robert Dewar. I don’t care how clumsy his comments were.

The comments made by Reilly and some of his cases that were overturned at the Alberta Court of Appeal makes, as well as judges like Robert Dewar, those callers from CJAD on Kim Fraser’s show and Super Vic Toews wanting to change the language of sexual assault leads to a more frightening picture. No, I don’t think Reilly or Dewar are alone. But I digress.

It also seems that his record as a jurist isn’t all that pristine. He’s had some sentences overturned, some of them rightfully, in my opinion, by the Alberta Court of Appeals.  While sentences of either 90 days or three years  or even 20 years, are not sufficient deterrents for sexual offenders, given their propensity to re-offend, the point is that keeping Reilly as a candidate just reinforces those Harpercon cheerleaders that the Liberals are hug-a-thug-soft-on-crime party in an age when most Canadians are scared of their own shadows.

Next, insult and offense aside,  and speaking as an outside oberver watching the campaigns, keeping Reilly in his no chance Wildrose riding and canning Andre Forbes, as Jennifer Ditchburn said on Power and Politics last night,  is a double standard.  Yes, one can say that Reilly was a good judge while Forbes had always been a racist pig, but at the end of the day, none of that matters to the average voter, now does it? All they would see, as Jennifer Ditchburn did, is a double standard.

It is high time for Iggy to can Reilly, before more damage is done. In keeping Reilly around just an extra day, David Akin has dug up the cases from the Alberta Court of Appeal. What kind of bomb shell about Reilly is going to come out after the candidate nomination deadline this Sunday? Or worse, the live televised debate next week?

Dan Cook, blogger with the Grope & Fail and political commentator on CJAD’s Andrew Carter morning show had said, basically, that if Iggy had a hope in hell to at least keep Stevie to a minority, his campaign had to be picture perfect.  If he continues to stubbornly hang on to John Reilly, he will have handed Stevie Spiteful the keys to his majority.

However, the hypocrisy of the Harpercon cheerleaders is just astounding, yet again. Simply awesome! FrmGrl is acting all offended again. Funny, I don’t recall her being this outraged over Judge Robert Dewar’s light sentence of that rapist.  I also don’t recall her and her little girlfriends getting outraged at that Toronto cop, telling a group of students at Osgoode Hall that they shouldn’t dress like ‘sluts’.  I never saw FrmGrl or her she blogging SupposiTory ilk, come out in defense of  survivors of conjugal violence.  Same goes for Chuckles Adler and his Fox News North rednecks. FrmGrl’s idea of feminism is having a major teeny-bopper crush on Glenn Beck.

You gotta love her closing paragraph:

Yeah, right,  Harpercons protect women…just ask the rape victim of the rapist who nearly got off thanks to the Harper appointed Judge Robert Dewar. 

The idea of protecting women is making sure they’re seen and not heard,  locked up in their homes barefoot and pregant while their daughters are locked up in room with chastity belts and pitbulls.  

They protect women by taxing  those who work to provide income splitting for those who do what he likes and stay home.

Spare me the garbage.

When right winged hypocrite shrieking monkeys like FrmGrl and Chuckles Adlre are as indignant about every sexual offender or woman beater of  all political and religious stripes, I may start to take you seriously, but this selective partisan indignation is really so not credible.

Ironically, if women start veering toward the Harpercons because of  Iggy’s refusal to can Reilly,  and they get their majority as a result, start looking for more sexual offenders to get off. Especially if Super Toews gets his wish and somehow the ‘sexual assault’ language is changed back to ‘rape’.
