Oh RG Harvie, Get With It! ADSCAM is So Yesterday, To Invoke Charlie Angus, Dracula is In Charge of the Bloodbank

I find it quite amusing when blogging supposiTories still hammer on about ADSCAM to this day, and there are many who do, yet they still will not forgive any and all transgressions of their treasured Harpercons. In fact, they will become like tigers when anyone dares to slam them for it.  In fact, when a conservative with a conscience dares to critique their government for any of their transgressions, they’re dismissed as lefty Libruls by those shrieking monkeys.

Today, the screed of RG Harvie is just the latest. He had to invoke ADSCAM along with a silly cartoon. Guess he hasn’t much to blog about these days. Law business slow these lazy days of summer, RG?

Where is your indignation over that G8 pork barreling with no paper trail? That scathing auditor general’s report? This is a scandal that is very much like ADSCAM. Yet, you and your ilk don’t seem to be quite bothered by it.

At least, following ADSCAM, the Liberals were voted out of office only to not govern again since.   The Harpercons with Odascam and her document doctoring, the Bruce Carson affair,  the G8 pork barreling and every other transgression simply got them promoted to a majority.  Double standard anyone?  Charlie Angus points out so astutely:

“When Chuck Guité played around with public funds for partisan gain, he got sent to jail,” Mr. Angus noted. “When the minister from Muskoka played around with public funds for partisan gain, he got the keys to the Treasury Board. What kind of message does this send to Canadians?”

I’d like to add that when Bevie Odeous got caught document doctoring, she was not only defended to the hilt by Stevie Spiteful, but she was re-elected,  and reinstated to her old cabinet post.

In fact, I think this should be a blogging supposiTory challenge of the day.  What kind of message does this send to Canadians? Conservatives can do whatever the hell they like?

I have a feeling that even if NDP were embroiled in some kind of scandal (yes, it can happen, now that they’re closest to any kind of power than they have ever been), or Lizzy May, for that matter,  they would probably be received with the same treatment for the same indefinite length of time by neo-con tea-bagging cheerleaders as the Liberals have, because, all goes if you’re a conservative!!

So, RG, get with the program, ADSCAM is sooo yesterday, today is all about millions on gazebos, glow sticks and port-o-craps in Muskoka!

Anyone notice that no matter what ministry John Baird is in, one of his tasks invariably is always that of pitbull protecting a Harpercon who can’t defend the indefensible?

Very aptly put, Mr. Angus! I was gonna say that putting Tugboat Tony in charge of the purse strings was like giving the keys to the liquor cabinet to an alcoholic, but I like your analogy better. It is like giving Dracula the keys to the blood bank.

Nice to see one of the Dippers showing some teeth for once. For awhile, I was getting worried there. Question period between the NDP and the Harpercons was starting to look more like the Ozzy and Harriet Show.  It really bordered on creepy. I was missing Gilles Duceppe’s zingers. Call me crazy, but I like animosity in Question Period. I like passion. It showed there was, uh, somebody breathing.

Johnny  Baird, feigning disappointment to do what Harpercons do best, deflect and distract:

“I listened with great interest when the new Leader of the Opposition said that he was going to come to the House of Commons and raise the level of debate,” Mr. Baird said. “I am very disappointed by the comments made by the member opposite.”

Spare us, Johnny. Just spare us. You were house leader in the last parliament specifically to keep parliament dysfunctional and to be everyone’s pitbull.  Things are no different now in your new job, I see.

As for you, RG and other blogging SupposiTories, if the Liberals are as dead as door nails, why do you keep blogging about them? By continuing to bitch about them, you breathe life into them, don’ t you? Just sayin’.

Yeah, and Guite was not a cabinet minister.

This is true. He was but a public servant. In fact, no MPs were ever implicated. Harpercons can’t really say the same, now can they?

Yay for Charlie! We definitely need more of that. (I miss Duceppe and his zingers.)
