Tea-Baggin’ Congressional Rep, Joe Walsh Believes in Austerity, All Right

Including imposing it on  his own children.  Before I go into that, Let’s tune into some typical tea-baggin’ swill of his:

“I won’t place one more dollar of debt upon the backs of my kids and grandkids unless we structurally reform the way this town spends money!” Walsh says directly into the camera in his viral video lecturing Obama on the need to get the nation’s finances in order.

No, of course not!  Now when you owe these same children a debt to the tune of  117, 437$.  He, of course, is crying poverty, due to the fact that he was only recently elected as a highly paid politician. His ex-wife’s attorney’s seem to have a different view of  his finances since their divorce in 200w2, though.

“Joe personally loaned his campaign $35,000, which, given that he failed to make any child support payments to Laura because he ‘had no money’ is surprising,” Laura Walsh’s attorneys wrote in a motion filed in December seeking $117,437 in back child support and interest. “Joe has paid himself back at least $14,200 for the loans he gave himself.”

Well, well!  I wonder how a poverty stricken man managed to scrape up 35,000$ and managed to pay back half of it so quickly, but can’t find any money to support his own children?

Indeed, austerity if for the country and his own flesh and blood, but certainly not for him.
