National Post endorses extremist Wildrose party

Yesterday I foolishly posted about the new diversity at the National Post because of its excellent, fair and balanced coverage of the Robo-calls scandal. I concluded that, with its publication of an opinion piece by Jodie Emery, the paper had come to its senses and decided to be a real newspaper, taking in all points of view and giving Canadians a broad range of opinions and thought.

I would be wrong. The editorial board of the paper has retreated to the cover of its far right ideololgy and has endorsed the far right Wildrose party in Alberta. This is the party of Allan the Hun, Ron Leech and Danielle Smith. Replete with homophobesracists and climate change deniers, Wildrose is the party of a farther right Stephen Harper. Only less skilled and far nuttier.

Up next, the editorial board of the Globe & Mail. Do your best for the far right, fellows! It’s not just your job, it’s your duty!

  • Alberta is a lost cause. When the party of Ralphie Klein is perceived as too far to the left and the nut jobs take over, whoa. Thank the lord that the Rockies form a barrier for us in BeeCee and that the prevailing winds blow east.

Maybe folks in the losing BC Reich will now come up with a new name (there’s talk about it in the group posing as liberals) perhaps the Dogwood Party…….or more appropriately the Dead Dog Dead Wood Party of the Past!

Actually, the Grope & Fail endorsed Alison Redford and the PCs.

  • I’m curious as to what parts of the Wildrose platform are “extremist”. This hyperbole is ridiculous. You probably live in Ontario where Dalton McGuinty is bankrupting the province with his socialist policies.

Oh Look, Craig is about to become a regular troll! Shows you know shit! We’re 4 people here. All from different places

You don’t know what’s extremist about Wildrose? Oh yeah! What was I thinking? Craig Smith–ferrit face who is homophobic and racist to begin with! As you were!

And Craigy, Metamucil Time! It’s obvious you don’t get enough fibre.
