Telling. Fox News asks of NBC’s Sandy telethon: “How is NBC going to control what people say?”

Fox News is aghast that NBC will be broadcasting a benefit concert for the victims of Sandy. Why would that be? Because NBC is the pawn of Obama and all the acts (Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Aguilera, Sting, Joel) are flaming liberals. That’s why. Plus…

”Where are the conservative performers?”

Number one, numbnuts: Kid Rock, Meatloaf and Ted Nugent didn’t volunteer and wouldn’t say yes anyway, because helping victims takes away the narrative that they are the victims of liberal bias.

“Good intention, raise some money for victims, but the timing is more than suspect. Is this more political? Is this more, let’s get this thing on TV before the election to help President Obama look more presidential? Or is it more to help out victims? Is it a hurricane benefit or a concert for Obama?”

The “timing is more than suspect?” Holy shit. Did he just say that?

The true doozy of all Fox News quotes from this segment is this one from a real Doocy: ”How is NBC going to control what people say?” Because we all know Fox News is about control. The message is control. There is no room for interpretation. Especially at the leading cable news network.

Striking how an authoritarian on an authoritarian network can’t understand freedom of expression. But not really surprising

More proof of what happens when you gut funding for public education. The fact that Fox News pundits think they are having intelligent discourse is quite frightening.
