Lovely lovely list, Ck! Well done! I’d only add NO mandatory sentencing for minor drug possession (too many young people will be ruined) to Antonia’s reminder of the Court Challenges program!
I think you’ve hit on the all main ones. Of course we could all go on & on, – for eg. I want the InSite centre not only kept open in Vancouver, but opened across the country for real harm reduction. I want the funding restored to the Aids Vaccine Research that was so promising! I want prison farms to remain open & to be expanded. I want immigrants and gay people and critical-thinkers & speakers to be welcomed to Canada. I want Omar Khadr brought home. And I really reallly want to see the Afghan Detainee documents – NOW! But as to women’s core wish-list – you got it. Rona – poor thing – is a StepCon “wife”, so she has no clue.

Court Challenges program restored please.

In its lifetime, it helped women, LGBTs, minorities and the disabled sue for equal rights.

But to the HarperCons, we’re all just left-wing fringe groups who want things like not to be fired for being pregnant, not to see our rent double because our husbands who signed the lease skipped town etc.
