National Newswatch, I’ve not heard of them (my bad); I’ll have to check them out. I’ll also be watching what happens to Akin; I’m fascinated by watching SNN shed people, tis like watching the Titanic shed parts after she broke in two, only slower.

While NN is a decent news aggregator, sometimes their original news items are a little suspect. I haven’t read anything more about Akin. Supposedly, Akin went on vacation around the time of the news. I’ve been waiting for confirmation from a news source but nothing has been forthcoming.

Where did you here (or how do you know) that Akin’s been sacked, at least from his 6:00 pm slot? SNN has been quietly “disappearing” on-air people since last June: first Theo Caldwell (no explanation) to make room for pulpit-pounder Coren (what!?!), then Jacqui Delaney (no explanation at all), then Neelam Verma was sent packing to make way for David Menzies (now there’s a ratings builder).

Akin’s photo still appears on the SNN website but he’s not doing his show today, hmm…. In the past, when the photo goes, so does the person.
