I See the Blogging SupposiTories Wasted No Time–They’re Proving Ian Davey Right, At Least Partially, Anyway

Perhaps Ian Davey was right about Sun Media readers having trouble with reading. Just read this temper tantrum in response to Ian Davey who basically told Question Period this morning that Sun Media was for those who were illliterate. Honestly, boys ‘n’ girls, I’ve seen more mature writing from fourth graders.  Ian Davey, who, by the by, is now a private citizen, no longer on the Liberal Party of Canada’s payroll; free to say whatever he likes, because, after all, Gawd Damn it! We have free speech in this country, do we not? Isn’t this what the Ezzy Levant and the rest of shrieking monkeys cry about on a daily basis?

Well, I just went over to the Blogging SupposiTories Aggregator. Oh my! Some didn’t waste any time at all. I’m sure there will be more temper tantrums to come.

Well, the obvious suspects, Canadian NonSense and the whiny cry baby, Jojo Blue Like You (betcha she cries when she gets a stain on her blouse; that’s how petty she is, kids) have come out screaming and coming out on what looks to be a collective temper tantrum.  Yikes! I feel the migraine coming on already.  They have proven Ian Davey correct, at least, in part. Their posts have proven they have difficulties with reading comprehension or just plain comprehension. Even that Sun Media temper tantrum said that Ian Davey was the “former” Liberal chief of staff.    What’s even more frightening, kids, is a supposed doctor, yes, the Rancid Dr Jabba the Roy Eappen, with a medical degree from McGill, if I thought that was tainted ever since I laid eyes on his idiotic rantings, now, I’m convinced! Really, McGill, when accepting med school candidates, make sure their reading comprehension skills are up to snuff, will ya?  Truth hurts, don’t it?

So, yeah, if correcting misinformation is  considered “elitist” so be it!!  As mentioned above, Ian Davey is a private citizen; no longer on the Liberal Party of Canada’s payroll. If CTV’s Question Period or any other show want to hire him for his opinion, that is their business. The Liberals don’t really have anything to say about that, nor can they have any control over what an ex-employee may or may not say about anything.   Just ask Warren Kinsella.

Once again, that power of misinformation that Sun Media wishes to exploit. Ian Davey is not the Liberal Party spokesman. That would imply that he is on the Liberal party’s payroll, which he is not. He could be a pundit, which is paid for by the media outlet using him. If any of these shrieking monkeys can’t tell the difference, then what can I say? They should perhaps not go through life without a helmet.

It also seems that they’re hammering the Liberals now because they will more than likely distance themselves from Davey’s remarks regarding Sun Media.  Probably correct. What else would they have them do?

Oh and another piece of Sun Media info just debunked by  a BCer in Toronto.

Curious to clear this up, I sent Bob a message on Facebook and asked him, did you support funding the Quebec arena as the Sun reported, or urge caution as CTV reported? He replied quite quickly to clear things up:

I urged caution. I never spoke to Sun media. I said Harper needed to understand that this is not a “one off” decision. You can’t just dole out money to a commercial arena in Quebec without understanding the implications for the rest of the country.

So it would seem the Sun completely distorted Rae’s position, and he did not say let’s fund all of them. He said you need to be cautious setting that kind of precedent.

As this blogger points out, this distortion did come from the paper owned by someone who would benefit the most from a tax-payer funded arena in Quebec City.  Oh, and Blogging SupposiTories, before you start your shrieking again, if you actually know how to read,  you would know that like A BCer in Toronto, I, too, don’t support public funding of hockey arenas or any sports complexes of any kind in any part of the country.

Of course, let’s not forget that Sun Media is also a paper that advocates the “locking and loading” of Tamil Migrant ships.   Yeah, real responsible media.

This has been exactly my experience on a couple of comment boards, CK. And if it is pointed out to the righties that they are giving perfect examples of FoxNewsNorth Media distortion, shrieking & disinformation – they scream CENSORSHIP!! Bunch of loony wackos!

  • Ian Davey is technically correct.

Based on the Flesch-Kincaid reading levels, here are the following average two-day grade-levels:

    Toronto Star: 14.10
    The Globe and Mail: 14.00
    National Post: 10.35
    Toronto Sun: 9.75

Ironically, the Sun’s editorial that complained about Ian Davey rated an 8.8.
