Oh Mr. Nicholls! I Do Believe Your Freudian Slip is Showing!

Oh, Mr. Gerry Nicholls, what have you done? 

 Do you live or work in an Ivory Tory, completely isolated from any sense of reality?

I know I don’t live in an Ivory Tory, but perhaps you do? And so do most of those living in the Sun Media Batcave and their readers it would seem.

Yes, this little apparent freudian slip is part of some swill of Gerry’s in the form of yet, another, useless, deeply flawed, cultural elitist test.  Something like what Peggy Wente did awhile back.  But in the world according to Gerry, if you answer ‘yes’ to at least one of those questions, we’re apparently evul cultural elites and we need to get a job.  But, Gerry, what if we already have a job? I know, go to church, or take up  square dancing or something like that.

Truth is, I can ‘yes’ to more than one of those questions, but as someone who works for social services, dealing with troubled children, I bet I’m much closer to the real world than ol’ Gerry is or any of his friends.

Much like the ol’ Peggy Wente ‘elite’ test, I’m waiting with baited breath for the Blogging SupposiTories to scramble about and take the test and then breath a sigh of relief on their screeds that they’re not cultural elites, that they can hold their heads high as they’re still in the race for the bottom.
