OK, National Post, now you can legitmately publish your headline of Oct 15, “Omar Khadr to admit to murder”

The scummy editors at the National Post jumped the gun ten days ago when they featured an almost half- page headline on page one announcing, “Omar Khadr to admit to murder”. Well, he hadn’t yet announced his intention to do so and there was no verification from the government that Khadr was about to. That didn’t matter to the National Post. They wanted so badly for Khadr to be guilty, they couldn’t help themselves.

I suppose the Post will claim they were being prescient, instead of just being the yellow judges and juries that they are. Today, Khadr admitted his guilt. But he was pronounced guilty in the press, government and populace long ago. In fact Khadr’s guilt can be traced back to almost the day he was captured – at least in the media.

Thank you National Post and your unethical editors and lackey writers for showing us that a fair trial in North America is only as good as the press that covers it. According to our media, if you are not one of their kind (conservative), you are guilty until proven innocent. And god help you if you are innocent; you will always be guilty in the eyes of the likes of the National Post.
