Hate over high: “Free speech” win for Conservatives and white supremacists

Conservatives and white supremacists are peas in a pod. They want to hate publicly and loudly. It’s what they do. Bill C-304 gives them the right to speak hate without the intervention of the Human Rights Commission. By removing the Commission from monitoring and eliminating discrimination, the Conservatives have given Conbloggers and white supremacists (the same thing in many if not most cases) the tool to call people of colour, those of alternative sexual mores, people with disabilities and any other non-majority person any name they choose.

Sure, it’s still a criminal offence to call minorities names but in this day and age of ‘tough on crime’, any charges of discrimination will take a distant back seat to all the accelerating number of arrests for marijuana possession currently being pushed by the Conservative government.

Convenient bill, isn’t it?  Hate over high. So very Conservative.
