My Prediction? We’re a Goin’ To Have an Early Snap Federal Election

Well boys n girls, I’m about to make another prediction.  I believe Stevie Spiteful is going to call an early snap election.   The election will likely be called sometime later this spring or early summer after the newly gerrymandered election map has been redrawn, complete with 30 more seats.  Here’s why.

Stevie Harper Will Never Leave, At Least, Not Until Next Election

Many journos, pundits, and journos are speculating as to whether or not ol’ Stevie Spiteful will leave sooner rather than later. Hell, even Chantal Hebert, who announced in her last column for the Toronto Star that she is taking a summer leave of absence to write book, announced that she made arrangements with . . . → Read More: Stevie Harper Will Never Leave, At Least, Not Until Next Election

A Politician Who Keeps Her Promise and How Long Will Pauline Marois and the PQ Last?

Pauline Marois had a very busy first day of school, boys ‘n’ girls. After the first day school, by decree, La Marois has scrapped the proposed tuition hike for at least this year, struck the most contentious and punitive portions of Bill 78 (now Bill 12),  issued a permanent moratorium on the production . . . → Read More: A Politician Who Keeps Her Promise and How Long Will Pauline Marois and the PQ Last?

Why Franky Legault, What is Your Hurry?

Boys ‘n’ girls, it looks like ol’ Franky Legault is confirming one of my predictions and worst fears.   It appears that ol’ Franky Legault is in even more of a hurry for the Liberals to select a permanent leader than they are.

I caught the #DenounceHarper hash tag on Twitter this morning again to commemorate Canada Day. I found it quite fitting, really.

Boys ‘n’ girls, I thought it would be fitting if I gave my reasons why I #DenounceHarper and Canada Day and why you should too.

Justin Trudeau’s “great hair” – Toronto Sun’s independent thinkers dutifully recite Con talking points

Justin Trudeau humiliated Sun Media by knocking the shit out of a Conservative Senator, broadcast live on Sun News Network in front of taunting and eventually stunned TV hosts and an even more stunned Conservative audience.

Ted Opitz Election Overturned By Court But Don’t Get Too Excited

Boys ‘n’ girls, it’s often we hear about good news in this increasingly undemocratic nation of Harperland. However, when something good happens, we really should take note of it, even if it may well only last a short while. Yep, the election results of Etobicoke Center have been overturned by the court.  However, . . . → Read More: Ted Opitz Election Overturned By Court But Don’t Get Too Excited

Jymn’s half-assed Predictions for 2012

Occupy will stay underground and grow its infrastructure and goals. More and more organizations and individuals will pledge allegiance to the movement. The media will interpret this lack of visibility to the failure of Occupy and continue to treat supporters as dirty fucking hippies. The year of Occupy will have to wait until . . . → Read More: Jymn’s half-assed Predictions for 2012

We Don’t Have a Speaker! We Have a Stevie Spiteful Yes Man!

I honestly don’t know why people are so shocked about our adorable speaker, Andy Scheer. I always knew he would be a hyper-partisan speaker.  Others speculated about whether or not he could be non-partisan, as well, despite the fact that the Harpercons would’ve preferred someone older.

And when push comes to shove in the . . . → Read More: We Don’t Have a Speaker! We Have a Stevie Spiteful Yes Man!

How can opposition battle Harper’s War Against Information when there’s no battle plan?

HillTimes:

There are an estimated 1,500 communications staffers working in ministers’ offices and departments, including 87 in the PMO and PCO.

(And don’t forget Sun Media, Postmedia, editorial board at Globe & Mail and 90 percent of the media.)

Soon after Mr. Harper won power, the Prime Minister’s staff started deciding . . . → Read More: How can opposition battle Harper’s War Against Information when there’s no battle plan?

We all have been hearing that Stevie Spiteful and his puppets have been doing all to curb debate on the motions they’ve been pushing in the House of Commons since their majority. Susan Delacourt points this out  in her blog this morning.  Some examples are cited. One of which, the most obvious and recent, was in this legislation to scrap the long gun registry,  those Harpercons have decided to scrap all the data that came with it, yanno, to make sure that not only put . . . → Read More: Vote Only Once And Never Have To Vote Again! And Now, Let the Leadership Race Games Begin…But Before That, Let’s View The Quebec Challenge

Speculation regarding Jack Layton’s successor had already begun within days following his death.  Personally, I thought it was in poor taste. Kind of predatorial, really.  I mean, couldn’t we bury Jack first before getting to this new business?  Anyway, it’s all now in full swing as of today and as Jean Lapierre mentioned . . . → Read More: And Now, Let the Leadership Race Games Begin…But Before That, Let’s View The Quebec Challenge

RIP Jack Layton, 1950-2011
