Canada becomes America – mandatory minimum sentences for pot about to become reality

Harper’s dream of a US of Canada just became more of a reality. In probably the most disturbing turn of Canada towards a totalitarian state was reached in the Senate when Bill S-10 was passed by the Conservative body of the Senate. It will most likely breeze through the House of Commons.
