TorontoEmerg Joins SSM

TorontoEmerg is an ER nurse in the Greater Toronto area who blogs about heath care, the system and work experiences at Those Emergency Blues.

As for me, I’m still down for the count. I’m now sick with pneumonia and fighting off migraines at the same time, as well as the usual stress currently going on in my husband’s and my life currently.  The illness makes for my not being able to look at a computer screen for too long.

As for our (husband and mine) current legal issues, there is good news on that front, however any action will have to be postponed now due to my illness.

Needless to say, I will be away awhile longer. Just dropped by to let all know I’m still alive, there is another new person joining us and to thank Jymn for helping to hold down the fort by keeping SSM current with his stylings and for him to keep up the good work over here. Thanks Jymn!

Take good care of yourself, ck, hope you have a speedy recovery! Looking forward to an inside look at the healthcare profession.

Thanks, it’s long. I look forward to being able to breathe normally again.

I’m not sure they’re going to be blogging the same content as over at Those Emergency Blues. Click the link to check him/her out. TE expressed an interest in branching out to more political interests here, though. It’s possible there may be the odd health care story from the point of view of a front line health care provider though.

  • Jymn:

Welcome aboard, TorontoEmerg. Ck could use some nursing right about now. Get well, ck!

  • hi CK…I’m sorry to hear that you are not feeling well and that you are going through some stressful times. I hope you feel better soon. Take care of yourself, and in the meantime I must say I’m impressed by the quality of your hired help… :)

  • ck:

Thanks Simon, and on behalf of my “hired help”, I’m sure they appreciate the sentiment as well.
