Folks all a celebratin’ that Osama Bin Laden is dead. Can’t for the life of me figure out why. Another bogeyman is going to come replace him very soon. Something has to keep giving the military industrial complex a raison d’etre.
The fact that that bushwhacker, Bin Laden’s demise happened under President Obama’s watch simply means that Obama decided it was time. C’mon, you gonna tell me that the CIA and other intelligence never knew where a semi-literate bushwhacker was? Bull-shit! No, Obama needed something more than likely to distract Donald Trump, the Rethuglicans and the other Birthers. He needed something big to boost his reelection chances next year.
Conspiracy theory? Perhaps. But it doesn’t mean it ain’t true. And the Amerikans have certainly earned the dubious honour of conspiracy theorists or others to speculate on other motives.
If anything, I’m sure that Bin Laden’s cheerleaders and the rest of Al-Qaeda sociopaths are cooking up a doozy of an act of retribution to the US for killing their hero.
Again, not impressed. Bin Laden could’ve been rid of easily, more than likely, but he had his uses. Now he’s of more use to the president dead than alive.
No question Osama Bin Laden was an evul sociopath, but never say that Dubya never benefitted from 9/11. If we all recall, he was looking like a lame duck president so soon into his mandate as Michael Moore’s film, Farenheit 9/11 mentions. 9/11 got Dubya a second term in office by keeping Americans afraid of their own shadows.
Sound familiar? It should, if Stevie Spiteful gets his majority tonight, it will be largely due to his successes in keeping Canadians scared out of their minds for everything from their jobs to their RRSPs to evul coalitions to Muslim Commies hiding under every bed.
Yes, boys ‘n’ girls, the War on Islam is very much alive and kicking. And gawd knows what other enemies they may find.
harper made a statement today and you’re right – he warns us that we still need to be afraid because someone else is going to fill in the top terrorist job
I’m not sorry Bin Laden is dead. However, pay back time, I’m sure will follow. Terrorists had threatened Canada, because of our involvement in Afghanistan. Canada is one huge country to defend, and there are thousands of vital targets, gas refineries, oil wells, airports, railroads, well, use your imagination. If they get access to materials, to build small dirty bombs and they eventually will, there could terrible consequences. Iran, Pakistan and India, all have nuclear bombs.
While we can win the battles, we won’t win the war. As soon as all of the armies leave, women will be stoned to death. Female children, will not be allowed to go to school. The Burka’s will be back. Ethnic cleansing will resume. Tribal wars will resume. Corruption will continue. Their way of life will not change. This is the Taliban way, and they will enforce their way of life. They have thousands, to take Bin Laden’s place. War is a way of life for these people, they are not going to, ever give up. They don’t even care, if their own families are killed.
Osama Bin Laden is dead?
Seems self-evident that the Rest of the World needs to answer a few questions before citizens begin dancing in the streets …
How is it OK to go secretly into another country and kill?
How is it OK to “bury” the evidence at sea?
And will this become the legal precedent for other countries to do some very unpleasant things to other national leaders on their home turf?
Oh. And by the way, didn’t Bin Laden die of kidney failure about 8 years ago?

No, he didn’t die of kidney failure 8 years ago.
Why so much compassion for Bin-Laden? He orchestrated the crime of the millenium which saw 3000 people killed. Many more who survived, their lives are destroyed by either physical or mental illness or economic restraints as they can no longer work.
Because of him, Muslims have been targets of abuse, racism and the worst of skapegoats. They have been the favourite whipping boy of the west since 9/11. Never have I seen a bunch of white people fixated on Muslims in such a negative way.
We all of a sudden started to care about what the Taliban in Afghanistan were doing or not doing after ignoring them for so many years. We’re in a war with Afghanistan that will never end. Especially Canada’s part. Ever hear new Con MP Chris Alexander for Ajax-Pickering; he once upon a time thinks we should be in Afghanistan indefinitely. And that’s what will likely happen.
Furthermore, it forever changed attitudes and for the worse. Folks are now more hateful and paranoid because of 9/11.
For example, Here in Canada, do you think Harper would’ve even gotten into parliament, let alone a majority government today?
In the US, tea-partiers and the Christian evangelical far right has far more influence than ever.
That man was pure evil.
So, yeah, that may be my right leaning side. Sure, a trial would’ve been best, but if he’s dead before he can be brought to trial, I’m not shedding any tears for him.
As for photos and videos, I think it’s really ghoulish that there is such a high demand to see pics of cadavers of terrorists.
