Francis Scarpaleggia, You Just Got Your Answer-Several Weeks Later

Well, Stevie Spiteful has indeed had quite the busy day today.  After appointing his new puppets,  he’s managed to squeeze in time for stacking his senate yet again.

Before I go on, let me share a trip down memory lane with you. I’m reminded of the time Tommy Schnurmacher was holding candidates’ debates on his show on CJAD during the election campaign. One day, he had on the Lac-St-Louis contingent of Liberal incumbent and winner, Francis Scarpaleggia, Senator Touchdown and NDP’s Alain Ackad.  Francis Scarpaleggia asked Senator Touchdown near the end of the segment if he would return to the senate if he lost the election.  Dead air ensued before Tommy or someone cut in quickly.  A cat had gotten Senator Touchdown’s tongue.  Dan Cook who comments on Andrew Carter’s morning show, as well as others would comment on Touchdown Smith’s non-responsiveness.  It was memorable.  Well, Mr. Scarpaleggia, looks like you got your answer today.

Stevie has brought back ex-senators and failed candidates Fabian Manning from Avalon and of course, Senator Touchdown and yes, Josee Verner is going to joining the party. It’s no longer a senate. It’s now a refugee camp for failed Harpercons. Yep, love that senate reform there.

Perhaps Josee Verner can dress them all in Nordiques jerseys.

As for Senator Touchdown, I guess he couldn’t find a gig with an even more catastrophic pay cut to bitch about.
