I have a feeling that the Rethuglican primaries are going to be a lot of fun to observe! Stay tuned while we watch Timmy figure out why he wants to be pres, if Newt figures out whether or not he wants to be pres, whether or not Mitt Romney can, well…reveal his raison d’etre, or if Ron Paul can be as nutty as his son or pretend to be Christian fundy enough to even be competitive with all those tea-baggin’/Rethuglican wingnutz. Will the Koch brothers find someone to meet their approval?
Will Obama be able to perhaps breathe somewhat easier if this motley band of candidates is the best tea-party / Rethugs have to offer?
TPaw is awesome! He introduced his wife Mary as “his red-hot smoking wife” and also busted out a Southern accent when he was doing a speech in Iowa despite being born and bred in Minnesota. The potential for hilarity is very high here.
As for serious candidates, Jon Huntsman is the only Republican candidate governor that’s indicated he might run that didn’t run his state to the ground as far as I know. He hasn’t been scrutinized quite as closely as the other candidates however.
We’ll need lots of popcorn for the coming race to the bottom of the barrel. I’m rooting for Bachmann…
