What’s good for the Conservative goose ain’t good for the gander? You see boys ‘n’ girls, ol’ Rex’s tripe which passes for journalism these days basically gives the Harpercons a free ride for staying out of the Quebec provincial election which I’m ok with. It’s as it should be. However, ol’ Rex is on a rampage against Thomas Mulcair for remaining silent on this subject. Why is that, Rex? Perhaps the cat got your tongue?
H/T CC
It’s actually pretty easy to see where Rex’s hypocrisy comes from. Rex is a climate change denier and the NDP is the one party in the House who really wants to propose positive solutions to climate change. Ergo, anything the NDP does that can be scrutinized will be to the fullest extent.
Now as to whether or not I agree with Rex, of course not. He’s stated it’s okay for the Government to remain absent from the election but is claiming that the NDP, as official opposition, should shove it’s face directly into the fray. It makes little sense to expect the government, the head representative of the country, to be absolved form representing federalism and yet to expect the opposition to do so.
Well done Rex. You’re hypocrisy, apparently, knows no bounds.
Rex refuses reply to your question
You have left him frowning for the rest of the day and evening
Myna, How can you tell whether Rex Murphy is smiling or frowning, which wrinkle are you looking at?
One of the rings of Hell is where you spend eternity forced to watch and listen to Rex, Andrew Coyne, Keith Baldrey, Bill “not so” Good and the rest of their ilk! Dante didn’t describe this one, as they hadn’t invented TeeVee in his day, so this ring is a latter day addition.
