Well, boys ‘n’ girls, after 8 days of playing cat and mouse with the media and pretty well the world at large, Fordzilla crawls out and denies the crack smoking allegations .
“I do not use crack cocaine,” Ford told a jam-packed news conference at Toronto City Hall. “Nor am I an addict of crack cocaine.”
Well, well, well! How many of you folks buy that, really? I mean, what else is a power hungry porker like Mayor Fordzilla hell bent on continuing a path of destruction would say?
Ford said he could not comment on a video “that I have never seen or does not exist.”
“It is most unfortunate, very unfortunate, that my colleagues and the great people of this city have been exposed to the fact that I have been judged by the media without any evidence.”
Ford said that the last week has taken “a great toll on my family” and that the reason he has previously refused to speak about the allegations was on advice from his solicitor, who told him “not to say a word
Taken a toll on his family? Er, Robbie, I think your very presence in your home takes a toll on your family. But I digress.
I dunno boys ‘n’ girls, a denial like that, we should be asking ourselves why the hell didn’t he come out right away with that? Assuming it were true, that he wasn’t consuming dope of some sort? The timing is indeed suspect when it comes just the day after John Cook from Gawker comes out and says they may not be able to obtain the alleged video because the drug dealers who have it have now been incognito since last week-end . Like I’ve always said, there is no such thing as coincidence. I believe that Forzilla (being a millionaire hisself, 200,000$ is chump change to buy silence), or some friend or family member of his, or even a member of his twisted fan club purchased the video. Likely, they’ve (drug dealers or whatever specimen of humanity) got their money, and that was most likely all they wanted all along. They would not have cared less about getting any story out or not, nor about the well being of Fordzilla. Me thinks they took their money and ran.
Also, he claims he didn’t address the allegations before because supposedly his lawyer advised him to keep mum . About that, someone who is completely innocent of such a deed would not need to consult an attorney. Plus, as I’ve mentioned in my previous post, his behaviour is impulsive and quite disorganized on a good day…especially one with the persecution complex as he does…would’ve not only denied right away, but would’ve had a few colourful words for his arch enemy #1–The Toronto Star. Hell, he would’ve threatened to sue them right out of the starting gate. He did no such thing. Out of what I’ve read so far, I still haven’t heard or seen a threat to sue the Toronto Star for slander and defamation.
Mayor Fordzilla took his ol’ Fishing buddy, Stevie Spiteful’s cue and took no questions from the media. Neither did his big bro, Dougy. Quelle Surprise!
Ford: “As for a video, I cannot comment on a video that I have never seen or does not exist.” Um… if someone claimed to have a video of me smoking a crack pipe, having not seen it, I could still definitely comment on it, as in “It’s not true!”
It seems obvious to me what has happened. Ford stayed quiet while he and his drug-dealing brother negotiated to buy the video. When they finally bought for who knows how much, Ford cut his hair (the only way to test for crack use in months past), and then he came out with a poorly written denial and a lame claim that his lawyer told him to stay silent all that time. Thus the guy with the Video has disappeared and now Ford has his greasy grin back knowing he is safe from the exposure the video would bring. But now that the Globe has broken the story of the whole family’s drug dealing, Ford and his brother might not be safe after all.
Well, at thr stroke of midnight entering Friday June 7th here, I’m glad the Star have found the house where the pic of Ford posing with gangbangers was taken… turns out the house is notorious among locals, and the folks known to live there include a high school friend of Rob Ford’s. There was even a shooting there the same day there was a shooting at the now famous Dixon Road high rise, where Rob Ford is said to have speculated the video might be found. I’m still surprised by how many people still love Ford and assume the video is a fake, presumably made up by the Toronto Star.
