Any bets how much ol’ Blackie bribed the judge to set aside his verdict for a new trial? Because, everybody knows there has always been two sets of justice systems; one for the poor and one for the rich. This isn’t any different.
I wish I had your optimism, Big City Lib, but reality is that Blackie will get off, simply because he has the resources to buy off judges, witnesses and whomever/whatever else is necessary to keep him out of club Fed. Had it been someone else with not nearly the resources as Blackie or someone who lost everything and left with not even a pot to piss in; there would have been no appeals for openers, but even if there were, the original judgement would have stood.
One of the reasons law school never interested me.

His day has come and gone–just like the Aspers

He’s more to be pitied than anything else. The son
of an alcoholic executive and self-important person

career, he has no real legacy.
