Dizzy Miss Lizzy, Still Whining The Debates–Get Over It, Already! You’re Not Helping Your Campaign!

Gawd, what a walking disaster area Ms Lizzy May is! I always knew that her crossing the country, running against popular Harpercon cabinet ministers was stategically, well, dumb.

The very fact that she sticks to that one tune ‘Why, oh why can’t I participate in the leaders’ debate’ is further proof of this disastrous campaign.  Now, her latest rant is how hypocritical it is to move the French debates so French Canadians (Ok, mainly Quebeckers) wouldn’t have to choose between the Habs play in play off series.  Uh, I wonder if her deputy leader and former Habs enforcer, Georges Laraques sees it the same way as she does?

Whether it’s democratic or not to allow you in televised debates should be the least of your problems when a dictator could be unleashed with a majority.  Now ain’t the time to discuss how the media consortium should deal with televised leaders debates.

Uh, Lizzy, perhaps you should take a look over at 308.com, Lunn is wiping the floor with you.

How’s about we start with how would you better serve the constituents of Saanich-Gulf Islands than Gary Lunn ever did? As a potential member of parliament, what would you try to do? How would you better represent the good folks of Saanich-Gulf Islands? It’s hard to shake Gary Lunn, who’s a puppet of the teflon party, so shouldn’t your efforts be concentrated on doing just that?

Another thing, start attacking the clown. For Gawd’s sake! He’s been a Harpercon puppet minister, surely you can find something to club him over the head with? I’ve got two words: Chalk River.

  • that’s one of the biggest problems I have with May her whining. I find it very dishonest and opportunistic. Not a sound argument for being included. Had she not pulled a bunch of emotional crap and simply argued her case based on logic, I’d probably have supported her fight to debate – again.

I like how she’s down to earth, relates to people fairly well, but I don’t like it when any politician pushes the “maybes” maybe it’s because I’m a woman, for example. Green should replace her, I think.

The fact that she’s a woman…what a joke! Didn’t Alexa McDonough and Audrey McLaughlin get to play on TV when they led the NDP? Lizzy’s argument fails…again!

  • I have voted Green since, well, long before May ever led the party. This election, I will have to stray away from them because May’s message is just the same tired, old broken record. Canada really needs some new blood, in all the parties. I am so bored and fed up with hearing the same old shit from these people. No wonder less people vote every election. My vote won’t be strategic, because I don’t think there is much difference between the other leaders, other than the fact that Harper is a psycho. I wonder if there will be an exodus from the Greens to the NDP this time around?

  • Misery Liz may not be helping her campaign, but her and the rest of the greenies are certainly valuable to Harper’s hopes of getting to be dictator in chief. Just imagine if those almost a million votes that elected no one nowhere, had been deployed to other candidates. I think it unlikely that any of those million would have chosen the Party of the Tar Sands as a second choice instead of Green.

Harper has been ruling like a dictator for five years already, I can’t wait until he gets a majority. He won’t even have to prorogue Parliament anymore, he can just terminate, call in the wrecking ball and declare hisself High Cyclops Ruler for Life, to be succeeded by one of his kids ala Qadaffi or North Korean Elvis.

I analyze Lizzies ill-advised stab at Saanich-Gulf Islands over at the House of Infamy in “the Catch 22 w/ voting Green.” (thanks to you SSM folks for turning me on to Catch 22, though I have my doubts about their focus, I certainly believe in their objective).
