Is Obama toast?

So many failures in so little time. Don’t get me wrong. Obama has been a fresh change from George Bush. He’s done some good shit. But he’s no fighter. He’s no progressive. And right now he’s in hot, hot water.

Obama fans have been apoplectic over attacks by progressives about Obama’s weakness. They’re saying that the capitulation on the Bush tax cuts is what Obama had to do.

On the other hand, ordinary Democrats disagree. The party is in mutiny mode. The ‘F’ words were flying today in a closed door meeting of Dems. Obama and Gibbs have come out insulting not the GOP but Obama’s base. The fight is on.

Now word is that Dem donors are withholding funds from the Democrats headed by a president who shows ‘incredible weakness’.

Look, I’m happy there is an Obama. I just wish there was more of him.
