Bet Suzy ALLCAPSLOCK is Pissed She Didn’t Think of This First–UPDATE

Oh dear!  I really have no words to explain this stupidity.

Only a Socon Blogging SupposiTory can bring their fetus Fetishism into the story of Christmas.

Through his word to them, he created a culture of life (“thou shalt not kill”); it was a culture that saw children as an heritage of the Lord, a culture that characterized what we refer to as “development of the fetus” as children being “knitted together in their mothers’ wombs” by God. In other words, it was a culturally safe place for the Son of God to enter the world. Mary was ground-zero of that people and that culture.

I’m going to presume that no one gave this Blogging SupposiTory sex ed in high school.  God took knitting needles and actually ‘knitted’ these fetuses in the womens’ wombs?

It gets a whole lot funnier or scarier, depending which way you look at it.

Western leftist pro-aborts would assert Mary’s absolute right to abort her child — a Child who was intended by God. They would provide loving affirmation and support of her decision, her choice. The child wouldn’t even enter into the equation.

Canada and the West would be a dangerous place for the Messiah to be conceived today.

Let me get this straight, according to the wonderful world of RK Ball,  ’the messiah’ was conceived in Israel because God was afraid that Mary might have been persuaded to abort her fetus in the West????

Did RK’s mother do a lot of heavy drinking during her pregnancy?

Seriously though,  not once, not ever have I heard of such monstrosity. Even during my youth, attending Christmas services at church with my grandmother have I heard anything remotely this ridiculous.

Update: Bina, in comments below brought up a point I completely overlooked in my mocking of RK.  Not only is RK an idiot, but he is one sick bastard.  One has to ask him how he feels about desperate women in the old days using dangerous methods, such as knitting needles for their abortions. Never mind. I don’t think I wanna know. I’m sure it’s worthy of the  B-movie rubber rooms.

  • I’m sorry, but every time I see “knitting” and “womb” in the same sentence together, I think of the classic method of illegal abortion. You know, from back in the Good Old Days when every town had one of those ladies who did them with knitting needles?

Good point! I was caught up in mocking this joker it slipped my mind. But you’re right. It’s me who should apologize for the oversight.

  • BTW, those ladies had a name. They used to call them “angel makers”.

Now that does sound creepy & macabre

Oh, even more creepy, there’s a sort of nursery rhyme associated with the phrase: “What is woman, that you forsake her/To the claws of the grey old angel maker?”

Just something I learned from reading Margaret Laurence (A Jest of God, for those who want to know…)

I knew a family in Manitoba who lost a 16 year old daughter to an illegal abortion. Wrecked the family, and hearing the story at 17 impressed me forever with the importance of legal abortion.
They didn’t find out what caused the massive infection until just before she died. Doctors thought it was pneumonia; and they finally took her out of the bedroom that she shared with her 11 year old sister.

That quote is based on – Harp Song of the Dane Women; about the ocean. Speaking to a man and asking why he would go to the ocean, which is the “old grey widow-maker”; turning women into widows.

WHAT is a woman that you forsake her,
And the hearth-fire and the home-acre.
To go with the old grey Widow-maker?
She has no house to lay a guest in
But one chill bed for all to rest in,
That the pale suns and the stray bergs nest in.

    etcetera.

  • Isn’t this “Ball” guy an evolution denier too?

    ck Reply:

Why, yes he is! evolution denier; climate change denier. Denies all things sciencey

Denies all things requiring independent thought and brain power, it appears.

  • Some people never get over the nursery rhymes of their childhood.

  • BTW, that bit about Mary being “Ground Zero”? You mean like the World Trade Centre? Scene of the worst terrorist disaster on North American soil? How strangely fitting (albeit stupid). I’d be terrorized too, if I were a Jewish teenager in the ultra-tribal middle east of 2000-odd years ago, facing death by stoning for fornication, and having to explain my belly…

I don’t think ol’ RK is smart enough to make that connection. No, he was talkin’ strictly bible.
