What? Harpercons Raising Payroll Taxes?? But…But…

I just finished reading Jymn’s post over at LFR regarding the hike in payroll taxes courtesy of the … Harpercons! Well, well, well…I thought the Cons stood for lower taxes! I mean, isn’t that what every tea-bagger and con cheerleader crow about?

Jymn was skeptical about any of that clan bitching about these higher taxes. So I went a lookin’ over at the Blogging SupposiTories. Sure enough, not too many. These higher taxes seem to be missed on the rancid Dr. Roy who can’t stop goin’ a ga ga giddy over them this fine cold Montreal evening.

I did, however, find one who was a bitchin‘. He does, however, rally quickly with the oh so Blogging Suppository mantra:

Yes CPC supporters, I’m sure the coalition would have raised taxes even higher.

Commenter Bertie scolds him:

So what, pay it and get off EI.Everything is going up ..Shut off the power to our houses and blame the Conservatives.Get a life and quit trying to get into the spotlight like the CTF.

Yes, Bertie. And if any other party gets into power and raises taxes and I catch you bitchin’, I will be around to make you eat those words.

Moving right along.

Commenter Frances attempts to dazzle all of them with math. Now, you know when Cons attempt to dazzle anyone with fancy math, it never goes to well.

Jymn goes over there to call them on their bullshit, the same stuff he writes on his post. Basically sayin’  that  most of these Harpercon cheerleaders, like Bertie, will go for it because, well, it goes to worthwhile causes like big assed mega prisons for unreported criminals, those who were caught with a few pot plants or running a hockey pool among friends; big shiny flying killer machines to keep the Russians away;  keeping their corporate fat cats tax free so they can continue having 3 hour martini lunches, jetset on private jets ‘earning’ (snort) 6-7 figure salaries just by stomping on the very workers who pay their taxes to keep them in the leisurely lifestyle to which they’re accustomed;  billion dollar photo ops for G8/G20 summits; nudie scanners at airports.

I mean, it’s not like it’s going on such wasteful things like health care,  family home care, education, pension reform, or job creation,  or help for disabled veterans or disabled workers at bankrupt companies like Nortel, so take heart whoever you are at “Freedom is my Nationality”!

Prepare boys n girls, this is just the beginning, the longer  Stevie Spiteful stays in power, the more chances he has of cutting services. And, no, the tax bill won’t go down, it’ll go up to pay for those Harpercon needful things.

So much for the argument of tax and spend Liberals or Tax and Spend NDP or both.

As for that Blogging SupposiTory over at “Freedom is my Nationality”; well, will he vote for  Brother Steve? You betcher cotton pickin’ life he will!

  • Yippee ki-yay, motherfuckers! Those frugal Cons ripping us off for five years, raping our surpluses and blowing cigar smoke up the ass of Canadians. It’s come to roost. Higher taxes is the Con way. Not Libs, NDP or any invisible Coalition. This is the biggest Con job by Harper yet. Raise your taxes, curb your freedoms, and steal your money. In the States, the Dems actually cut taxes and hardly anyone knew it. Those po’ BTers don’t get it. The right raises taxes and build deficits. Then we are forced to come back into power by a reluctant public lied to about us by a right-wing media and save the day…again.

I was being sarcastic with that line you quoted. It seems to be a standard CPC supporter response when the party is criticized (see other posts from the blog). I may have not made it clear enough that it was a joke.

I will not vote for the Conservative Party in the next election.

I dislike Harper. I don’t know what else I can tell you. Take my word for it or not, but I hope Harper is out as leader as soon as possible.
