New Beginnings? Canadians Waking Up? Do I Dare Hope?

Remember how I said we were too complacent? Remember I linked a Fellow blogger who felt ol’ Stevie felt he won because of our complacency?

Well, there have been rumours of opposition MPs who will show up for work January 25, when Parliament was originally scheduled to resume.  Showing up for work without Steve. Just crazy enough that it might work and would be a great start.  They could certainly keep not only torturegate alive and well, but also other issues such as climate change and why the hell is Jim Prentice allowing the exports of Asbestos?

This is no joke, here is Jim Prentice’s fan page on Facebook, which brags more than 800 supporters, but don’t be fooled, it would appear many had joined simply so they could ask him questions. Apparently, a little deleting ghost has been active.

The above screenshot is just an example as to how Steve and the Harpercons are telling Canadians to fuck themselves.  Another example of not only their dislike of democracy, but also of things to come if they’re unleashed with a majority.  Another example of how free speech is for thee and not for me.

I first saw that over at Impolitical a few months back, before the by-elections in November. Can’t speak for the other two Harpercon slogans on placards in B.C. or Nova Scotia, but here in Montreal’s Hochelaga riding was how the placard read. When I first saw it, I thought it was funny. Nothing more than copy writing stupidity and pretty well dismissed it. Well, now I wonder if that would be things to come if Steve were unleashed with his Totalitarian Regime, oops! Did I just say that? I meant his majority.

The above screenshot and video are but a few reasons why we must not leave ol’ Stevie in peace. It is for those reasons I am hoping that opposition MPs will show up for work without Steve. Keep all those unresolved issues alive and well.

Here is how you can find your MP. I hope you write to them to express anger toward Steve’s latest stunt. Tell them you want them to go back to work.

Remember, the Europeans would never tolerate the kinds of actions from their own leaders that Stevie has taken. There would be protests in the streets to put it mildly.
