Overpriced G20 Summit; In Addition to Closed City of Toronto; Check out the Theocratic Theme!

I’m still not sure whether or not to take this seriously as this was Rick Mercer’s  tweet yesterday.   After an obscene amount of money spent for this hootenanny, in addition to closing down Toronto, the domain name for the G20 site is owned by…none other than Charles McVety the king of the Canadian Evangelicals hisself. Yup. And Karl Rove is the keynote speaker!  Read it and weep, boys n girls!

I was going to publish this last night, but honestly, I wasn’t sure if this was all a spoof given the original source was a Rick Mercer tweet. Rick Mercer who specializes in satire.

Actually  BeneDiction informs us that somehow, Charles McVety has gotten his dirty ol’ mits on many urls consisting of  Federal liberal candidate names

Even this summit has an evangelical theme

I think we can colour ourselves perplexed over this.  Dave from The Galloping Beaver asks that all important question we all should be asking:

How is it that Charles McVety knew to lock down the G20.ca URL when the rest of us didn’t get the official word that Harper was planning a gazillion dollar photo-op in Canada before December 2009?

If you ask me, I believe this is further proof of McVety and his Evangelical flunkies increasing power within the Harpercon ranks.

But then, how and why in hell would McVety want to procure urls bearing the names of Federal Liberal candidates?  It’s that answer that is much less obvious and would be more interesting. Anyone wanna take a crack at this one?
