Jean-Pierre Blackburn offered a typically hollow Harpercon apology to Sean Bruyea for the hell he’d been through:
“I was very troubled to learn that personal information concerning you was shared among public servants who had no need for this information in order to do their work,” Blackburn said in his statement.
“I recognize that this information sharing has caused you needless suffering and anxiety, and for that the government and I are truly sorry.”
See how easy that was, J-P? What? You had to learn it in English? It sounds hollow given the hell he and his wife have been put through.
This also shows that ol’ J-P doesn’t get it. You’re the minister responsible, how do you plan to make sure this never happens again? After all, I’m sure Mr. Bruyea would also like to make sure this never happens again.
Oops! Here comes the Harpercon legal slap in the face:
In a statement, Veterans Affairs Minister Jean-Pierre Blackburn also said the government is immediately launching an “expedited mediation procedure” to resolve Bruyea’s legal case against the government and several departmental officials.
Yanno, Sean, I realize your wife and yourself are pretty fatigued from all this, and that you have stated that this fight was never about money, but if I were you, I would return that smack, publicly. But, I hope you have some fight left in ya, because more than likely, this kind of backroom offer would be peanuts and more than likely include some kind of clause where you’d have to be silenced on all matters related to Veteran’s Affairs, including all your activist work. Because, after all, isn’t that what Stevie Spiteful and his Merry band of puppets are all about? Silencing dissent of any kind? Gawd knows we’ve seen more than enough evidence of that. Then all that work would have been in vain. Especially with Colonel Stogran leaving, and more than likely to be replaced by yet another Harpercon Flunkie of a “yes” man, those veterans need a voice like your’s more than ever.
Also, remember, if it happened to Mr. Bruyea, how many others slipped through the cracks?
Mr. Bruyeau, tell ol’ J-P to take his “expedited mediation procedure” and shove it up his Harpercon ass!
Whatever happened to his right to “recourse through the law”? what’s this mediation bullshit?

That is why, at the end of my post, I urged Mr Bruyea to basically tell ol’ J-P to shove his mediation B.S. up his Harpercon ass, as far as it would go, which, probably not very, as these Harpercons already have quarters lodged up there! Gawd! No wonder they need fibre!
