Blogging SupposiTory JoJo Blue, Has an Excuse: Chantal Hebert: What’s Your’s?

Come to think of it, why am I even bothering? There are far bigger fish to fry and I’ m blogging about something relatively minor in the grand scheme of things given recent events.

Now, we get Jojo Blue. She has too much time on her hands. Clearly, the woman hasn’t a job.

She now frets over Chantal Hebert’s latest effort, discussing what kind of person  Master Steve should appoint to be Governor General and hopes it would be someone strong enough to better stand up to him than Michaelle Jean ever did (she did let him prorogue twice in 13 months!)

Don’t worry your pretty little  dear. Everybody, but everybody knows, much to most of our chagrin, but to your happiness the new GG will be Preston Manning. You can go back to your gardening now or your country club or whatever it is you conservative women do.

Don’t know why Hebert even bothered wasting the ink, really. I mean, with everything that happened in Toronto recently; agents provocateurs and further evidence being further unveiled proving this.  Police chiefs who invent the laws and evidence and lies more often than his political masters (it’s certainly a coin toss). Hebert could certainly be asking why no one has asked for the heads of  Chief Blair and Dalton McGuinty. There is plenty of stuff she could be writing about, but she chose such an insipid subject  no one can do anything about.

She could also be writing about the indignation of the loss of privacy and dignity of travellers should this monstrosity of a bill C-42 pass.

She could even write of the dastardly effects Preston Manning as Governor General will have on our rapidly shrinking democracy and inching closer to Steve’s regime.

Let’s not forget those high priced, private, big assed prisons and tough on crime bills that would make the initial costs of the long gun registry seem frugal.

Another thing many seem to overlook when speculating about Peter Milliken as the next govenor general, he’s already said that he was staying on until the next election. While it is considered a strong possibility that Steve will call an election shortly after parliament resumes come the fall, no one has any way of knowing what date that will be. We do know that the Governor general must be replaced by a specific date in September.

Steve is working toward that regime of his and what happened in Toronto over g20 week-end was simply a stepping stone toward that end.  Only Preston Manning will suit that end, as I’ve mentioned above. Now let’s move on. We’re stuck with that twerp more than likely.

Chantal, I often disagree with what you write, but at least you offer interesting theories and write subjects of substance. This isn’t one of them.

For those touting how great a Governor general Michaelle Jean was; let the picture  (by Pale of ACR) below serve as a reminder.

Glad that’s out of my system. Now my break is finished; back to work now.

Tonight, I go to a planning session for demonstations to be held this coming Saturday in different cities across Canada. Hope for a high participation!!

I don’t believe it would be Preston Manning. He has too many
things going on with his Manning Centre and other political
/religious circles. Those activities would conflict with
the requirements for a head of state.

There would be such fallout as to ensure Harper’s demise.

One person I had always wished would become a Governor-General
was the late Maureen Forrester. She had met so many of the
world’s leaders during her concert career that she would have
been a natural fit for the office.

We need someone of her calibre. We deserve nothing less.
That’s another reason why Manning won’t be G-G.
