to my previous post, regarding the role of the Attorney General Mike De Jong in the crimilalization of dissent, with regards to Betty K. and Harriot N., we need to look backwards in time as well, to the ministry according to Geoff Plant.  Recently, Mr. Plant came out in opposition to the opposition of the HST.  In editorials all over the province, he blasted the petition;

 

If media statements are to be believed, the organizers of the anti-HST initiative petition are on the verge of success. But their initiative petition is fundamentally flawed and cannot possibly achieve the purpose that they intend.

Mr. Plant said the proposed initiative is not within the jurisdiction of the province – as required by law – because the HST is a federal tax and outside the authority of the B.C. Legislature

“I don’t think it’s a close call whether this bill passes muster. It’s open-and-shut that it fails,” he said in an interview.

Funny thing about Heenan-Blaikie, they are international advocates for employers and insurance companies against workers.  Don’t take my word for it, it’s right there on Wikipedia!  Okay, so we know Plant hates indians, wimmen and the disabled, he also apparently hates taxpayers.  So why does such a partisan corporate shill get such credibility in the media?  We are living in a corporate regime, where democracy is a talking point and corporations own the desemination of information.  Geoff Plant is the personification of anti-humanism.
