Pwned

Not really sure what happened, but I got one of those spectacular blue screen error messages after participating in a Vancouver Sun livechat event this afternoon.   I’m not a technological genious, but it was unsettling. 

The forum was inserted after a Vaughn Palmer column.  It advertised his participation, though I did not see any evidence of his presence.  I asked some questions to the administrator, Chris Parry, about the editorial board of the Vancouver Sun and it’s role in editing content .  I asked about the role, if any, played by the Vancouver Sun in appealing the publication ban in the Basi/Virk/Basi trial.  He claimed , after apparently checking his sources, that they had spent thousands in that appeal.  I asked him to support his claim.  He changed the subject to FOI requests made on the BC Ferries file.

Then I lost the cache and everything disappeared off the website.  I have an email in, trying to get to the bottom of this.  Yeah, I know, good luck with that…
