Con journos trip over themselves concern trolling over Justin Trudeau’s reluctant ascension

Eat your hearts out Tasha, Lorrie, John, Michael and especially you, Stephen Harper

It’s not just Justin Trudeau’s dukes that have the Con-dominated MSM in a tizzy. Now that Rae’s demurred from being the next Liberal leader, let alone candidate, it’s looking more and more like it just might be Justin Trudeau’s time to take the helm of the dull and directionless Liberals. And that has sent the Con-dominated media into a panicked frenzy.

Lord knows, the Liberal party – and Canadians in general – need a hero as much as it needs a leader. And the possibility of another pugilistic Trudeau in the public spotlight has sent our cultish Conservative journalistic elite over the edge. Goldstein, Kheiriddin, Den Tandt, Ibbitson and the entire front line of the Conservative journalistic team have jumped out with excited tomes of advice not only for the Liberals but for Sugar Ray Trudeau himself.

Justin Trudeau is too inexperienced. Trudeau is too young. He’s too flashy. So many outrageous statements. Justin will embarrass the Liberals. The Liberals will embarrass Trudeau. The Liberals are far too gone to be saved so Justin should save his mojo for some day in the future.oo flashy. Justin will embarrass the Liberals. The Liberals will embarrass Trudeau. The Liberals are far too gone to be saved so Justin should save his mojo for some day in the future.

It’s all fear and loathing between butt-clenched lines. These journos are frightened. That much is obvious. It’s also rather humorous. If anything in this world should convince the young Mr. Trudeau to run for the leadership, it is the trepidation and phony bits of gratuitous concern from these panicked right-wing hacks that should provide the golden ticket of enlightenment to the tattooed contender.

Justin Trudeau scares the shit out of the right. They’ve tried to put the underdog welterweight down too many times and he keeps not only surviving but triumphing. His one-two punch is powerful, an elixir for a bored public and a dispirited party.

I was not sold on Justin Trudeau until I read the headlines today. Justin Trudeau is a star. He’s got them running before he himself even decides to run. He’s a terrifying possibility in an island of Con dominance. That’s not only power, that’s a knockout.
