Happy 2012 From The Cast of Sister Sage’s Musings And Ringing it In With Style With a Musical Interlude From JimBobby

Hey Boys ‘n’ girls, it’s been awhile, I know. I’ll explain at a later time. Meanwhile,  I’d like to thank my partners in crime for holding up the fort as they usually do with their stylings when I am unable to post for long periods of time.    Right now, I’d like to wish all our readers a Happy New Year on behalf of  Jymn, Kim, Logan, TorontoEmerg, Orwell’s Bastard and everyone else who has contributed here at Sister Sage’s Musings in 2011, and, of course, I wish all of my above mentioned partners in crime a great 2012 as well. May we progressive folks of all stripes kick some Harpercon cheerleading ass in 2012!!

In the meantime, I will leave you with the vocal  stylings of JimBobby of JimBobbySez, with the help of lyricist, Dr Dawg (click here for lyrics in text),  music by the Dawg House All Star Band (catchy name!) all to the melody of that old Merle Haggard classic, “Okie From Muskokee”. Honestly, I can’t think of a more entertaining way to ring in 2012.

Enjoy!

Again, Happy New Year, boy’s ‘n’ girls, and let’s thank Dr Dawg, the band and JimBobby for providing us a holiday gift to boost the moral to help ring in 2012.

2012 will indeed be an important year for progressives. It’s a time for us to come together like never before to face the machine that has arisen before us. It isn’t impossible to dismantle but we need to do it smart and we need to it united. Happy New Year to everyone and may 2012 bring us all happiness, success in our fields (those that don’t involve blogging) and may all your families and friends keep safe.

    Cheers

    Logan
