I felt a little bad feeling so much animosity towards a person, but Nancy Brinker’s reaction to her disengagement from Planned Parenthood has quickly become the stuff of history. Not the good kind mind you, but the wrong-side kind. Now I find her organization is soft on guns, hard on poor women, I like her organization even less. You are not going to believe this.
Discount Gun Sales is proud to team up with the Susan B. Koman Foundation to offer the Walther P-22 Hope Edition in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A portion of each P-22 Hope Edition will be donated to the Seattle Branch of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
UPDATE: According to Komen, whose credibility is right about now nil, advises that the handgun is not sanctioned by the foundation.
“This fundraising scheme is not sanctioned by us; we had no knowledge of it. We have not received a single penny from this gun seller. It is a rogue scheme,” said Jim Clune, communications manager for the Puget Sound Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. “We have forwarded this issue to the National Komen office, requesting they contact Discount Gun Sales with a cease and desist order.”

The “Hope” edition?!?! It’s a handgun. It has one purpose – killing people. Hope indeed.
I am speechless.
Repellent and repulsive, this concept by the SGKomen F’dn with gun company.
Hey, women with a terminal cancer diagnosis are gonna need something to off themselves with, right? Because the Komen Foundation is about USING them, not finding a cure. So yeah, there’s “hope” for ya, with a vengeance!!
