Dave, over at The Galloping Beaver is rightfully outraged with Stevie Spiteful for the following statement he made, regarding the heinous crimes of the monstrous Colonel Russell Williams:
“The Canadian Forces are the victim here, [pause] as are the direct victims of these terrible events.”
Of course, the very fact that Steve puts the horrific suffering of the last minutes of the lives of these victims secondary that of the image of the troops he loves to hide behind so often is an outrage and an insult to the victims. However, given how he once referred to women as “left winged fringe groups”, fights pay equity tooth and nail, would strip women of their reproductive rights if ever let loose with a majority (yes, I’m taking bets on this one), cuts funding to many women’s groups, so obviously has total disregard for conjugal violence to the point of nearly endorsing the behavior, the shabby way he treats his female MPs, particularly those who step out of line slightly; are we really surprised? Think about this for a moment, are we really surprised at how he views the victims of Col Russell as a mere afterthought? I wonder how Stevie Spiteful would have worded it had the victims been men?
Like Dave, I also find it mind boggling how Stevie Spiteful would make a point at telling Canadians that the Canadian Forces were victims of Colonel Williams. What’s sad about this is, that many Canadians will eat this latest schtick of Stevie’s up with a spoon, just like they do everything else their Saintly Stevie tells them. Read Dave’s post for more. Stevie, as usual, plays the chickenhawk, once again, hiding his inadequacies behind the troops. Have no fear, kids, he’ll find a way to throw them under the bus, yet again, when it suits him, soon enough.
But most all, another thing that shouldn’t surprise any of us is that Stevie being photographed with Canadian Forces officials looks a lot more glam to him than being photographed with victims and their families, some of whom, could be nameless.
What I find funny, is, how all of a sudden, the Canadian Forces become ‘victims’ over the twisted acts of one sociopath in the eyes of Stevie Spiteful and his flunkies, but have total disregard for the actual suffering of disabled veterans and the surviving family members of dead soldiers fighting and nickel and diming for benefits that are rightfully their’s?
And folks, this is the PM many voted for and this is the PM, according to polls, many want to keep at the helm. So, worse than this PM is, are Canadians who actually endorse this misogynistic clown.
Of course most of us would get that the entire Canadian Forces are not to blame for the actions of a deranged monster like Colonel Russell Williams. I just wish that most would also get that not all Muslims are crazy Jihadist terrorists because of the extreme violent actions of a mere 19 extremist thugs on 9/11, but I know that too, would be wishful thinking on my part. Funny how the average mind works or doesn’t work these days.
What I’m also not getting is why a bigger deal is made out of the fact that he was military. At the end of the day, he is still a sociopathic, irredeemable monster, in the same bag as Jeffrey Daumer, Clifford Olson, Son of Sam, Paul Bernardo and the other infamous monsters and must be treated the same way as all those other monsters with the full force of the law and should never, ever see the light of day again.
And yes, it goes without saying that we are indeed sorry for the victims and their families for the horrible ordeals they suffered at the hands of this deranged psycho.
Would he and his buddies deny an abortion to one of Williams’ rape victims?

I’m sorry to say this, but let Stevie Spiteful loose with a majority, I’m as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow that he would.

And here we were, thinking in our heartless cynicism that Stevie didn’t have any empathy.
By his logic, the RCMP’s been victimized by the taser boys — Constable Kwesi Millington, Constable Gerry Rundel, Constable Bill Bentley, and Corporal Monty Robinson — to exactly the same extent as Robert Dziekanski.
