Cheney chickens out of visit to Toronto

Must be all those mandatory minimum sentences that spooked the skittish Mr. Cheney. Do the crime, do the time must be scary words to a man wanted in much of the world for crimes against humanity. Plus I doubt the recent slaughter of innocent Iraqis at the hand of a US soldier will help his case.

But Cheney fans, don’t be too disappointed. Mark Steyn is taking his place! Lots of laughs, that fellah. Should be a fun time.

Psst media, I was there in Vancouver at the demonstration outside the infamous Vancouver Club. I didn’t see any violence. Just thought you’d like to know.
