Ol’ Peggy Wente is Back in the Saddle, Obviously, Not Having Learned a Damned Thing

I always thought ol’ Pegs Wente was ga ga giddy uncontrollably as she feverishly types her “columns”,  trashing social programs and the misery of others with relish.  I really shouldn’t be surprised that the Grope & Fail took back ol’ Pegs, but a part of me was hoping she’d have been canned.  No such luck. First, her latest drivel which of course trashes social programs this week. Sixth Estate, as usual, tears her latest efforts apart, showing she has obviously not learned a damned thing. But, then, the Grope & FAil took her back, so why would she?

    What gets me, as Sixth Estate pointed out, is the pure propaganda of Wente’s writing. Here she cherry picks from right-wing sources without revealing the political leanings of those sources. As so often happens with conservative journalists, facts and a balanced reporting of those facts is not something they understand. Their job as they see it is to advance and agenda, an ideology if you will. Facts and balance only get in the way.

    Wente is obviously a propagandist for the right yet the guns, God, and gallows crowd over on the Sun News Network facebook page do not consider the Grope to be a conservative newspaper—go figure.
