Duceppe Issues Stevie Ultimatum

Looks like Duceppe is once again, mad and he ain’t takin’ it anymore.  He’s thrown down the gauntlet–again. This time, it’s those dastardly Afghan detainee documents.   Duceppe has threatened to pull out of the parliamentary committee with the Liberals and the Harpercons if Stevie doesn’t play ball by a certain time.

“This delay makes no sense, because we were told that in January it would be done,” Duceppe told the French newspaper La Presse.

 ”Now there is a deadline.”

Before you think ol’ Gilles Duceppe has gone all altruistic now,  check the date of Duceppe deadline–April 15–same date as Parti-Quebecois leader, Pauline Marois’s leadership vote.   Further evidence that he is preparing to leave to the Bloc Quebecois for the Parti-Quebecois and like Steve, wants an election sooner, rather than later while he is still leader.
